Free Online AI Basics Course from Finland: Elements of AI

UPDATE Dec 16, 2019: Finland has decided to share its AI online course “Elements of AI” with the all EU citizens for free, thus marking the end of presidency of the EU Council. The goal of the online artificial intelligence course is to educate at least 1% of EU citizens by 2021. Elements of AI will be available in all EU languages (although it is free for anyone in the world).

This unique possibility could hold the answer to the question of developing people’s skills for the jobs of the future and help avoid the dreaded ‘job-pocalypse’ (massive job losses that will hit much of the workforce because of the wide-spreading of automation).

Scientia potentia est. Knowledge is power.

Professor Teemu Roos (FCAI, University of Helsinki)
