The Alter3 Robot & the Japanese composer and pianist Keiichiro Shibuya have premiered in Germany an updated performance of “Scary Beauty”, an innovative orchestral project with an android equipped with artificial intelligence. The Man-Machine Festival, which deals with technology and art through exhibitions, moving images and conferences.
The human orchestra will be led by a humanoid robot with artificial intelligence (AI) in an opera performance of “Scary Beauty.”
Alter 3 has been created by Hiroshi Ishiguro, to study the potential for communication between humanoids and humans.
The android opera, in which an autonomous robot works with the human orchestra in real time, has attracted huge interest due to its innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI).
